Alexis is a postdoctoral fellow at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory working in the Quantum Nanoelectronics Laboratory with Professor Irfan Siddiqi since 2019. He is currently working on the development and the characterization of a qutrit platform. The aim of his work is to make qutrit more competitive with qubit and to be able to perform quantum simulation of interest for condensed matter physics and high energy physics with this architecture. He received his Ph.D. at the Université Paris-Saclay in the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides for his research on the observation of topological Semenoff edges state in a lattice of superconducting circuits under the supervision of J. Esteve and J. Gabelli.
