Marie Lu

Marie is a 4th year graduate student working working on multi-qubit gate development. Prior to coming to Berkeley, she completed her undergraduate studies as a physics major, with a math minor, at Stanford University in 2016, where she helped build optical tweezers for micron scale gravity measurements. She also worked for a summer on the LIGO project at Caltech, studying the mechanical quality factor of cryogenic detectors. When she is not fussing over her qubits in lab, you can find her dancing or painting. She is also available to share excitement over cat videos any time.
